A rather decaying impression of what was once a lovely church. All Hallows Church in Southwark was designed by George Gilbert Scott Junior in 1879. It is a fine example of Victorian Gothic. This church unfortunately sustained significant damage during the Blitz. Since then some of the rubble was cleared to form a community garden and the remaining part of the structure has been used for various activities, including as a recording studio in the 1980s. Since then it has continued to decline and is probably in at risk of demolition.
