MEET THE TEAM

The People Behind BillingtonPix

BillingtonPix started as one person's idea and is now built by a small team who work across design, writing and the site itself.

BillingtonPix was founded by Matthew, and every collection still starts with his original artwork. As the brand has grown, so has the team helping shape it - from the guides and career profiles across the blog to the technical work that keeps the site running well. Here's who's behind it.

MB

Matthew Baines

Founder & Designer

Matthew founded BillingtonPix as a designer and lifelong wrestling fan. Every collection starts with his original artwork, shaped by years of following the sport's visual language: colour, character and silhouette translated into performance wear people actually want to train, travel and go out in.

PD

Priya Desai

Content & Localisation

Priya writes much of BillingtonPix's lucha libre and wider Latin American wrestling coverage, along with the site's Spanish and German translations. She focuses on getting the cultural detail right, from mask colours and meanings to regional wrestling calendars.

YM

Yvonne Marsh

Editorial Strategy

Yvonne shapes what BillingtonPix writes about next, turning customer questions and community interest into new guides, career profiles and style breakdowns across the blog.

MR

Marcus Reid

Growth & Analytics

Marcus keeps an eye on how people find and experience BillingtonPix, helping the team understand what's resonating and where to focus next.

KD

Kieran Doyle

Site & Development

Kieran handles the technical side of the site, from performance to reliability, so the guides and collections BillingtonPix builds actually work the way they're meant to.

The team works together across design, writing and development, and uses AI tools to help draft and research parts of the site's editorial content. Everything that goes live is reviewed and directed by Matthew.
