Absurdism Celebrated

Albert Camus fan t-shirt for all the existentialists out there who have been influenced by this incredible 20th Century author. If you ever read La Peste (The Plague) or L'Etranger (The Stranger) you will no doubt feel a deep affinity to this pillar of 20th Century philosophical thinking. Albert Camus's The Plague is especially poignant, given the pandemic of 2020/2021.

Who was Albert Camus?

Albert Camus was a celebrated French writer, humanist and thinker, born in Algeria in 1913. He received the Nobel Peace Prize for literature in 1957. His works centre around the question of the human condition and the philosophy of Absurdism. He is generally considered to be an Existentialist, although he always denied this. He died tragically in a car accident in 1960 in France.

This graphic t shirt shows a circular image of Camus in a retro blue faded outline against a cream background with the word Camus wrapped around the top.
